2. Enquiries via the contact form, email or phone
What we process: first and last name, email address and, if you give them, company, phone number, subject and the content of your message.
Why: to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare an offer or contract.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long: as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and no longer than 3 years from receipt, unless a longer period is required by law (for example, accounting records if a contract follows).
Giving us your details is voluntary, but without them we cannot reply to you.
3. Visiting the website
When you open this website, our hosting provider's server automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, and browser type. This is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.
All fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading the website does not contact Google or any other third party.
4. Cookies
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
5. Google Maps
The map on the contact page is not loaded automatically. Only when you click Load map is it loaded from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google then receives your IP address and may set cookies; data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent, given by clicking the button (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The Open in Google Maps link also takes you to Google's website. Google's own privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Who receives your data
We do not sell your data. It may be processed on our behalf by our web hosting and email providers, who are bound by a data processing agreement, and disclosed to public authorities where the law requires it. Apart from Google Maps (section 5), we do not transfer data outside the EU/EEA.
7. No automated decisions
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and receive your data in a portable format, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing. To exercise these rights, write to ferad@ferad.eu or to our address above.
